Over the years, Julie McAllister has grown into her intuitive gifts and now offers spiritual readings to special needs families with one desire: to provide answers. “Many families have questions about their child’s future, money, health and are seeking spiritual guidance.” Julie’s goal is to “empower the family to move forward and to rise above their challenges”.
Julie believes that her readings support the special needs family by offering confirmation to a parents own instinct. Most often, Julie affirms what that parent already knows and then shares new potential directions with regard to the child’s future. Julie has found that this leads to parental stress reduction and provides the family a new sense of peace.
I have watched in amazement over the last 18 months as Julie developed spiritually. Julie joined OUR Journey THRU Autism as a Reiki Master and shared plentiful resources for parental self care with our readers. Julie and I connected on a spiritual level as I have nursing experience using Therapeutic Touch, which is a form of energy work similar to Reiki. Both modalities are approved by the American Holistic Nurse’s Association. Through Reiki, Julie began to notice additional sensitivities and pursued the expansion of her gifts. When Julie offered me a free reading for both of my youngest sons, I jumped on it, admittedly out of curiosity as to her accuracy. And I was pleasantly surprised.
How Does It Work?
All I had to do is send Julie 2 pictures, one for each of my sons along with their name. Julie scheduled a time through her conference line enabling the session to be recorded. Prior to a scheduled session, Julie prepares for a reading by “grounding to Mother Earth and connecting to her angels and spirit guides”. Through prayer, she requests to receive information for the highest good of the person she is doing the reading for. Julie selects particular crystals and lights a white candle to invite the angels in. Then she connects to the person she is reading with her heart chakra followed by the third eye chakra.
After Julie is “grounded”, she is able to access not only her spirit guides and angels, but those of the individual she is reading. Through this “connection”, Julie sees “symbols in her mind’s eye, hears the spirit guides or angels and feels a sense of knowing through impressions”.
First Reading
Julie began with my youngest son first. She began by sharing her impressions of my son along with his preferred interests in school. She shared the name of my son’s spirit guide, which was quite profound considering my son has mentioned this name to me many times and indicated to me that this “person” was not of this world. I was then permitted to ask Julie three questions relating to my son. She was able to share with me the root of the sibling rivalry in our home along with ways to help limit it. She elaborated on some general information about what is in store for my son in the future and it all very much tied into his personality and who he is today so it certainly made sense to me.
Second Reading
We moved on to my next son and Julie was even more insightful as to her impressions and his preferred interests in school. A lot of what was discussed about this son, was very detailed and accurate down to the challenges he was experiencing in the classroom. Julie offered insights to the why’s of his challenges (bored), the challenges with regard to the teacher (not seeing his strengths) and how we can help him move through this challenging school year. She foresaw my son being a University Professor, which is quite profound in that he had indicated to me a few years back that he wants to be a teacher when he grows up so that he can teach what people want to learn.
Within both readings, Julie talked of the “Bubble of White Light”. I asked her to elaborate on this and share with the readership….
Many of our kids with autism spectrum disorders and ADHD are very empathic. They “pick up” the negative energy along with pain or physical ailments of others. This may manifest in what appears to be sensory issues. i.e. getting overwhelmed in large crowds. It is critical for them to learn to protect themselves from this.
I have taught my children and many others about the “bubble of white light.” Tell them to imagine white light coming down from their Higher Power into the top of their head and also going all the way around them like they are walking in a beautiful bubble. I then give them the option of changing the color, putting on armor or anything else that might protect them from negative energy. You can even do this for them. Just imagine them walking around in a bubble of protective white light.
It has made an amazing difference in my son in how he behaves at school as well as his behavior after school because he is not being bombarded with that negative energy all day.
You can also do this before going to any place where there are a lot of people or that you know may have negative energy. Your in-laws for instance.
Overall, I must say that I am indeed impressed with Julie’s ability. She has grown tremendously with her spiritual gifts. I felt that she did a fantastic job, honing in on each child with tremendous accuracy. She was able to tune into their essence, the essence of who they are.
