Happy Thanksgiving! May all the readers be blessed this Thanksgiving and all year long!
I am very thankful this year and what a perfect time to express my gratitude.
I am thankful for each and everyone of our remarkable contributors, who each month, share their personal and professional expertise on a topic as it relates to OUR Journey THRU Autism readers. Without their generous contributions, OUR Journey THRU Autism would not be thriving.
I am thankful for all of our readers, who take the time to spread the word about OUR Journey THRU Autism, who share our posts in an effort to help other families out there on the journey.
Last year this time, we shared with readers that we had jumped from a simple journal of my family’s journey through autism to a collection of professional contributors. This year, I am so grateful to share that our readership has grown even bigger. Last year, we were close to approaching ten thousand readers, and this year, Blogger reports that we are around 13 thousand pageviews each month.
Because of the wonderful blessings and a commitment from the entire team at OUR Journey THRU Autism, 2012 will bring even more incredible resources to professionals, authors and consumers readers. Be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for upcoming announcements.
I am especially thankful to Martianne Stanger an absolutely amazing woman who home schools three kiddos, juggles the life challenges we know comes with an SPD kiddo and has been a die hard loyal supporter of the mission of OUR Journey THRU Autism for close to two years now.
A few years ago, I shared an moving and inspirational story about Johnny, the grocery store bagger who made a difference in the lives of others by leaving his personal fingerprint upon the work that he did. Johnny’s story is one of inspiration and deserving of resurrection.
Each and every day, this young man with Down’s Syndrome, leaves his mark in the lives of those who shop in his store. Watch the short video clip below to see how…
What is one small and simple thing you can do in the next 365 days until next Thanksgiving? Figure it out and do it. Stop back and share what you will be doing and what you have already done.
Each and every month, our professional contributors, authors and insightful bloggers share one article a month with a desire to help you, the reader. This is one small way of giving back by sharing their intellectual property with you.
Writers, I am grateful for your ongoing contributions to OUR Journey THRU Autism.
Readers, I am grateful to you for coming back time and time again to tap into these insights.
We wish you a season filled with love, prosperity and happiness.
Life can get heavy, but remember these two sentences…
What you think about, comes about.
Where your attention goes, energy flows.
Focus your thoughts toward the power of gratitude.
Direct your life in a positive direction by redirecting your mind toward the positives.
If you want to become great, be grateful.
Change any situation in your life by thinking about what is right vs. what is wrong.
May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!
