Meet Certified Life Coach, Darcie Lyon of Wyoming. Darcie joins us with a melting pot of experiences. With 20 years of practice in Early Childhood Development, Darcie holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, a bachelors in Family Home Economics with emphasis on Child & Family Development. In addition, she brings experience as a paraprofessional in special education.
With a quest for learning and helping others, Darcie became certified as a Life Coach. She began this quest when she had found out that her was diagnosed with high functioning autism.
“My life was crazy. I was grieving so many aspects of my life. Through the life coach certification process, I was able to become an expert on my own life, learn tools and skills to help my child thru her personal struggles and address my own personal questions raging inside me. Was I a ‘good enough’ mom? What was this thing called autism? Will my marriage make it? Can we survive a big move to another town? How will I leave the parent support group I founded? How can I best help serve others? I discovered the little details in my big picture of life and I am eager to help others discover theirs.”
With all her life experiences, Darcie has found her true purpose and would like to share her insights as a Life Coach promoting self care to help you and your family along your journey thru autism.
